The My Keepon Dancing Robot Story
Honestly, if we looked half as impossibly cute as My Keepon we’d be content to sit back, put our feet up and bask in our own adorability! But luckily for you this funky little Keepon robot isn’t as shallow as us! Oh no, under that cuddly yellow body of his is a fun loving, all dancing, all playing, interactive, ‘must have’ megastar. How does he do it? Simply put, he has an array of touch responsive sensors hidden underneath his ‘skin’ that trigger 2 buttons located on his podium. One button pops him into Dance mode and the other sends him into Touch mode.
Dance Mode
Yes, we know what you’re thinking. Can something that looks like 2 tennis balls staked one on top of the other with no arms or legs really bust a move? Absolutely, and with his built in microphone and state of the art beat detection, My Keepon’s amazing ability to listen and find the perfect rhythm burns up any dance floor. And unlike those dancing plastic flowers of yesteryear that did the same repetitive thing again and again, our little chap is no ‘one routine fits all’ robot.
With an impressive repertoire of moves to choose from he never gets his groove on the same way twice. So when you play a different song he randomly changes his moves to match. Touch Mode
Ok, we know the dancing mode sounds pretty awesome, and quite frankly that alone would be enough to have us taking him home, but this happy camper is the gift that keeps on giving! Remember, those “sensors hidden underneath his skin” that we mentioned earlier? Well, they add a whole other captivating element to this already rather niffy little dude. They enable the My Keepon robot to react to touch! Pat him and he’ll look down to see where it came from. Scratch his nose and he’ll sneeze. So just poke, tickle, squeeze or tap him and watch the fun begin.
My Keepon even lets you know how he feels. ‘Chatting’ in his own special way, he has over fifty different sounds and emotional movements ranging from happy, annoyed, giggly, sleepy or curious. In fact, the more you play with him the more you’ll get to know his moods… He’ll even try to get your attention, when he feels ignored!!!!!
